Who I Am

HI, I am Lindsay Carpenter RN, IBCLC.

 

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2010. My desire for becoming a nurse was to care for moms and babies. After working in many areas of nursing, it finally led to my work in Couplet Care. While working there it sparked my passion for becoming a Lactation Consultant. During that time I also taught as an RN Instructor for a CNA program.

 

After I gave birth to my fourth baby at home, I struggled with breastfeeding him and knew that I wanted to become a Lactation Consultant to help other moms with the support that I desperately needed.  I became certified as an IBCLC in 2019 and certified in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT Bodywork) in 2023.

 

I loved the home birth experience so much that I looked into becoming a part of the homebirth community. After getting pregnant with my 5th baby, I decided to jump on board with my midwifery team. 

 

I am now a mother to 6 beautiful children, all breastfed.  I specialize as an IBCLC and CFT-Bodywork Practitioner, and love to assist with home births.
